Since the 1870s, Chicago sports fans have been strong supporters of the Cubs, their beloved baseball team. The careers of such players as Ernie Banks, Leo Durocher, and Ryne Sandberg are examined in an effort to recall the contributions of those who have done so much to make this a special team. Viewers see Wrigley Field, where numerous games have been played. Clips from some of the Cubs' most exciting games are included in this loving look back at the team's ability to make Chicago citizens feel proud and loyal over the years.
