Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An American family welcomes a soft-spoken Japanese exchange student into their home and discovers she harbors a sinister secret. At first Miyuki seemed like the perfect addition to the McKenzie household. Studious, personable, and supportive, she listens to her host parents and gets good grades in school. When a series of bizarre occurrences lead Liam McKenzie to suspect that Miyuki isn't what she appears to be, his suspicions fall on hostile ears. Incensed that his parents could accept Miyuki's word over his, Liam leaves home to live with his uncle. Once Liam is gone, the atmosphere in the McKenzie household grows thick with painful memories, and creeping dread. When Miyuki begins to suspect that her new family is slipping away, her fury begins to build, leading to a bloody confrontation and a bizarre revelation.
