Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Revenge drives this tale of an orphan taken in by a state police officer only to discover that the man who raised him as his own was also the man who savagely gunned down his family. Following the death of his parents in a violent raid by police who are on the trail of a rebel leader, eleven-year-old Altaaf is taken in by kindly officer Inayat Khan and his loving wife Neelima. When Altaff learns that his adoptive father is the same man who gunned down his mother and father years ago, he flees Kashmir to study under the tutelage of rebel leader Hilal Kohistani -- a man determined to fight to the death for Kashmir's independence. Ten years later, Altaff returns with an unquenchable thirst for revenge, but when he unexpectedly reunites with his childhood sweetheart, Sufi, his anger slowly gives way to love -- throwing his lifelong mission to avenge the death of his parents in jeopardy.
