Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Corinne Griffith plays Marta, a poor girl whose ambition is to move up the social ladder. She leaves her life and her boyfriend, Larry (Walter McGrail), behind to become the secretary of a rich woman. In the course of her duties, she meets sculptor Nowland Wells (Fred Smith) who wants to use her as the model for a statue he's creating called "Miss Ambition." While at the sculptor's studio, she meets a wealthy older man (Templar Saxe), an art patron, who is taken with her. Seeing him as her ticket to the good life, she marries him. But once she is surrounded by all the wonderful things that money can buy, she realizes she's not happy, and she searches out Larry, who has become a successful contractor. Eventually, Marta's husband conveniently dies, and she and Larry can be together once again. Neither the story nor the supporting cast, unfortunately, are really worthy of Corinne Griffith's talents.
