Minding My Own Business is a 13-part series designed to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs. It features ethnically diverse women who have successfully established their own companies. Entrepreneurs share their victories and failures and frankly discuss the effort and skills required for survival. Programs one through six address business planning, operating, and ongoing business, while other programs highlight particular types of businesses. The episode Minding My Own Business: The Home Based Business helps you move your business from the basement to Main Street. Many successful companies had their start at home, but faced a time to expand horizons. Topics covered include planning for growth and profit, as well as how to decide whether maturing from a home-based enterprise to the next level will bring the sought-after rewards.
