Minding My Own Business is a 13-part series designed to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs. It features ethnically diverse women who have successfully established their own companies. Entrepreneurs share their victories and failures and frankly discuss the effort and skills required for survival. Programs one through six address business planning and operating an ongoing business, while other programs highlight particular types of businesses. The episode Marketing covers the scope of good marketing techniques and strategies. It defines the elements needed for an effective marketing plan. Specific topics addressed include cost and pricing, merchandising, sourcing product, catering to demand, analyzing trends, and advertising.
