Minding My Own Business is a 13-part series designed to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs. It features ethnically diverse women who have successfully established their own companies. Entrepreneurs share their victories and failures and frankly discuss the effort and skills required for survival. Programs one through six address business planning and operating an ongoing business, while other programs highlight particular types of businesses. The episode Manufacturing and Distribution addresses the need of both the small and large business to continually monitor key elements supporting the function of a manufacturing business, including material cost, labor, training, world market trends, and distribution. Other segments cover transportation, effective warehousing, spoilage, dating, market trends, competition, and accounts receivable.
