Minding My Own Business is a 13-part series designed to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs. It features ethnically diverse women who have successfully established their own companies. Entrepreneurs share their victories and failures and frankly discuss the effort and skills required for survival. Programs one through six address business planning as well as operating and ongoing business practices, while other programs highlight particular types of businesses. The episode Financing covers raising money. Its focus is on helping entrepreneurs establish their financial requirements as well as ways to accomplish meeting the company's funding goals. Highlights include segments on lending decisions; short-term, long-term, and immediate financing; credit; approaching lenders; financial statements; and funding sources.
