Minding My Own Business is a 13-part series designed to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs. It features ethnically diverse women who have successfully established their own companies. Entrepreneurs share their victories and failures and frankly discuss the effort and skills required for survival. Programs one through six address business planning as well as operating and ongoing business practices, while other programs highlight particular types of businesses. The episode Evaluating explores ways to bring long-term and short-term goals into harmony with the mission. The emphasis is on examining profitability, shrinkage, turnover, expansion, satisfaction, achievements, weaknesses, and strengths. It stresses the necessity of shaping daily operations to enhance the entrepreneur's genuine objectives.
