Synopsis
This documentary takes the viewer to Steepletop, the 700-acre farm in upstate New York, where Edna St. Vincent Millay lived with her husband. The Pulitzer Prize-winning author is shown in the serene landscape that she loved, and which informed and inspired her poetry. The beauty of the countryside is interspersed with interviews with the couple at their rambling farmhouse. Millay reads from her works. Also included is a short film, entitled The Last Tram, about the last trolley to run in Glasgow, Scotland.
