Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This story was told by the seasons: in the springtime of their lives, two children (Helen Badgley and Leland Benham) become close friends, and in the summer of their young adulthood, the pair (now played by Mignon Anderson and Harris Gordon) marry. But by the time the autumn of their lives rolls around, their marriage has hit some rough spots. Their differences are emphasized by the appearance of "the other woman" (Louise Rutter) -- a lady who the husband had had a crush on as a child. Now married, but neglected by her husband (Arthur Bauer), the woman discovers she only has a few months left to live. She follows her old love, who has gone off on a business trip, and although he quickly discourages her, the situation causes a lot of trouble. The wife finds out about the meeting and, misunderstanding, she separates from her spouse. But before winter can put a permanent chill on their relationship, her estranged husband saves her from a burning building and they are reconciled.
