Synopsis by C. Dwayne Smith
This 35-minute production from V.I.E.W. video paints a portrait of one of Michelangelo greatest creations, the splendor of the Vatican's Sistine Chapel. Focusing on the famed Italian artist, this renaissance documentary examines the religious overtones depicted in the masterpiece by deciphering the biblical legends portrayed on each separate panel. Filmed in color with stereo sound, this VHS tape takes the viewer across the famed ceiling, from the "Story of Creation" to the prophet Zechariah and all the temptations and sacrifice in between.
