Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
After 11-year-old Mia Owen (Daniah De Villiers) moves with her parents from London to a rural farm in South Africa, she forms a close connection to Charlie, a little white lion cub who is born not long after she arrives. However, three years later, Mia discovers a shattering truth - that Charlie will soon be sold to trophy hunters. Distraught, Mia and Charlie set off on a long and arduous journey across the African Savanna to find a place where Charlie can be safe and free. Directed by Gilles de Maistre.
