Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A destitute Mexico City man discovers that money can't buy happiness after receiving a suitcase full of cash, and racing to spend every last dollar in order to make good on a deal with the Devil. Every day that Peporro can scrounge up enough cash to eat is a day worth celebrating. Occasionally, he's fortunate enough to receive a tamale from a benevolent admirer, but when Peporro crosses paths with local mobster "El Picudo" and his son, he is bestowed the most generous gift of all - a suitcase overflowing with cold hard cash. Convinced that the money has come to him straight from the Devil, Peporro embarks on a frantic quest to spend every last bill in order to avoid the fires of Hell. Somewhere along the way, however, Peporro realizes that not all problems can be solved by throwing money at them.
