Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
This program is part of the Medieval Warfare set that studies the large-scale battles fought in Europe in medieval times. Each program dramatically re-creates key battles and uses maps, graphs, and artwork to help viewers grasp the full intensity of these confrontations. This volume focuses on England's 15th century War of the Roses when the Houses of York and Lancaster battled one another for power. As the bloody battle at Bosworth Field ended, King Richard III was killed. The Tudor Dynasty began as a result of Henry VII's victory.
