Based on the fifteenth-century warlord Jan Zizka, this film follows the rise of the Czech legend. Zizka (Ben Foster), a well-decorated general, defeated the Teutonic Order and the Holy Roman Empire and was considered one of the few military geniuses of his time. Zizka is hired by Lord Boresh (Michael Caine) to kidnap a powerful lord’s fiancée, Lady Katherine (Sophie Lowe). This historical biopic is written and directed by Petr Jákl.
