Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Because he hasn't been able to capture a ring of opium smugglers, Revenue Officer Anderson (William Riley Hatch) finds his job in jeopardy. His daughter, Helen (Alice Calhoun), decides to help out and she goes to an island owned by the wealthy Cyrus Blake (Charles Mackay) in search of evidence. Blake's son, Harvey (Joseph Striker), has escaped to the island because he wants to get away from a party on his father's estate. Helen believes he is involved in the smuggling, and follows him. Meanwhile, Mrs. Sanborn (Marion Barney), has urged her daughter, Dorothy (Edith Stockton), to go spend the night on the island -- with her virtue apparently "compromised," Harvey will be forced to marry her. Helen's presence prevents this from happening, and she discovers that the smugglers are among Blake's guests. Not only does Helen save her father's job, she also wins a husband in Harvey.
