Synopsis by Alice Day
Bones and other fossilized remains of the dinosaurs reveal clues about their habits, and scientists are able to determine many details about their food, and how they cared for their young. Mammals shared the Earth with dinosaurs, but did not completely die out during the cataclysmic occurrences that wiped out the dinosaurs. When the dinosaurs became extinct, mammals began to dominate the landscape. The appearance of man signaled the rise of a new, powerful predator with a skill in hunting that would prove to be the downfall of such creatures as the mastodon.
