This British TV adaptation of Charles Dickens' Martin Chuzzlewit was told in progressive 25-minute installments. Gary Raymond and Barry Jones shared the title role of Martin Chuzzlewit, the youngest son of a conspicuously greedy London family. Shipped off to America to learn the harsh facts of business life, Martin had an epiphany along the way, returning to England a better and stronger person, fully equipped to deal with his covetous relatives. Martin Chuzzlewit was broadcast by the BBC in 1964.
