Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Two filmmakers pay loving tribute to the nannies who raised them. Both director Jyll Johnstone and co-producer Barbara Ettinger were born into wealthy families to parents too busy to raise them. Johnstone was reared by Martha, a rather cold German woman, while Ettinger was raised by Ethel, a warm, friendly black woman. Both nannies were in their 80s when this documentary was made.
