Synopsis by Janiss Garza

When Theodore Vandeveer (Chester Barnett) checks into a hotel, he is mistaken for his wealthy relative and is given part of a lavish hotel suite. All the girls at the resort are interested in this apparently well-heeled bachelor, including Mildred Niles (Clara Kimball Young), whose father is known as "the king of Wall Street." Unfortunately the "king" makes some bad investments and winds up a pauper. Her mother anxiously urges her to elope with Theodore, whose funds are quickly running out. So they wed, but immediately confess to each other that they are broke. Luckily, Theodore discovers that his uncle has left him a million dollars, providing that he marry, so the couple are happily solvent. This picture, based on the play by Washington Pezet and Bertram Marburgh, was a rare light comedy turn for dramatic actress Clara Kimball Young.
