Synopsis by Hal Erickson

"You can watch reruns or you can watch Fox" blared the original ads for this, the final episode of Married. . .With Children's first season (ironically, you'd be watching reruns on Fox one week later). The plot is set in motion when Al and Peg learn that their favorite hamburger joint, Johnny B. Goods, is soon to close its doors for good. As the Bundy try to attend the restaurant's last night, they are constantly delayed by the misadventures of their children--and their anxiety spills over to their next-door neighbors Steve (David Garrison) and Marcy (Amanda Bearse), who are planning to throw a party for some VIPs. (This is one of the series' two episodes to be taped in a single, long, continuous "scene").
