Dietrich Hilsdorf and stage director Ansgar Weigner co-mounted this production of Giacomo Puccini's four-act opera Manon Lescaut at the Chemnitz Opera House in 2008; it stars Astrid Weber in the title role, plus Heiko Trinsinger as Lescaut, Zurab Zurabishvili as Des Grieux and Kouta Rasanen as Geronte. The Robert Schumann Philharmonic lends added musical support.
