Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Geoffrey Manning (Harry Morey) is the lazy son of a steel magnate (L. Rogers Lytton). But one day he realizes the uselessness of his life and after telling his family that he is going on a hunting trip, he goes out into the world. Since he has no training, he is only fit -- just barely -- for manual labor. Eventually he gets a job at one of his father's steel mills under an assumed name and becomes interested in the workers' complaints. When they are on the verge of striking, Geoffrey takes their grievances to the big boss -- his father. Mr. Manning is overjoyed to see that his son is really worth something after all, and promotes him to superintendent. After making sure the workers get their due, he then marries Harmony Laurie (Belle Bruce), a music teacher of modest means. He doesn't bother telling her that he is actually wealthy until he brings her to their new, lavish home.
