Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Telma, and Eva, three women who may not be American by birth, but whose jobs are each inexorably tied to the American dream. Salvadorian immigrant Telma has been taking care of six year old Mickey since he was an infant; 37 year old Eva earned a BA in accounting in Mexico, but can't find work stateside since she's in the country illegally; meanwhile, Guatemalan immigrant Judith left her four children behind in a bid to build a brighter future for them. Each woman has a story that might not be too different from your own. If you listen closely, it isn't difficult to recognize their universal plight.
