Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this amateur, independent production, featuring a script composed mostly of lines from Gertrude Stein's poetry, Ida is a Los Angeles prostitute who hates her life. She is surrounded by ugly people and ugly customers, works in an ugly bar, and wears ugly clothes. Eventually she murders one of her clients and goes to prison, which is a welcome relief for everyone, including (if reviewers are to be believed) the viewer.
