The little French schoolgirl has a pair of big adventures in this special DVD release based on the classic stories for children of Ludwig Bemelmans. In Madeline and the Pirates, Madeline (voice of Andrea Libman) takes to the high seas in search of oceangoing bandits. And Madeline and her friends visit a circus and find themselves traveling along with the carnies when they're accidentally left behind in Madeline and the Gypsies. Both stories are taken from episodes from the animated Madeline television series.
