The little French schoolgirl Madeline finds herself having to live up to a tall tale in this pair of stories from the animated series based on Ludwig Bemelmans' classic children's books. First, Madeline tells Pepito that she can drop an egg off the roof of a house without breaking it; after showing that it can be done, Pepito goads her into saying she could manage the same feat dropping the egg off the top of the Eiffel Tower, but Madeline isn't so sure it can be done. Later, Madeline and Pepito visit a castle in Versailles, where Pepito breaks a valuable artifact. Can Madeline convince Pepito to step forward and take his punishment?
