Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Swiss writer and essayist Ludwig Hohl ("Bergfahrt," 1975) died in 1980 at the age of 76, just before he received the Petrarca Prize and not long after director and writer Alexander J. Seiler filmed this documentary. Comprised mainly of interviews in which Hohl reads from his works, the documentary captures the quiet nature of the man whose life story is augmented by a series of still photographs with accompanying narration.
