Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Jim Atherton (Raymond McKee) inherits his uncle's estate -- unfortunately, about all his uncle had to will was a daughter, 15-year-old Jane Day (Shirely Mason). Jane can't stand Jim's thoughtless fiancée, so she runs away with her dog, Buddie. They are discovered by theatrical manager Allen Hamilton (Edwin Booth Tilton), who takes them in. When he discovers that Jane has a voice, he sends her to Paris to study -- but before she leaves, he offers her a marriage proposal. While she is away, she runs into Jim once again, and they fall in love. She's torn between her romance and her sense of duty, until Hamilton makes the sacrifice and opts himself out of the running.
