The machinations of friends and fate conspire to bring a couple together time and again in this breezy, Russian-language romantic comedy. Grigoriy Antipenko stars as a Moscow resident who meets a Minsk-based publisher (Aleksandra Rebenok) at a book fair and falls instantly for her (and vice-versa). As the initial meet-up appears completely chance-driven, both lovers conclude that fate brought them together, little realizing that friends orchestrated the entire encounter. But when time and circumstance separate the paramours, and they happen, at random, to cross paths on a second occasion, the two realize that destiny is most certainly involved.
