Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This timeworn story about the relationship between a poor man and an heiress isn't given any new spins here. Struggling artist Henry Calvin (Creighton Hale) accidentally gets his hands on an invitation to the coming-out party of Louise Gordon (June Caprice) and decides to attend. During the festivities, he wins over both Louise and her parents by allowing them to think he is of their class. He continues the deception even though he feels guilty about it. But Louise finally finds out and believing him to be an opportunist, becomes engaged to an old suitor, Herbert Rand (Alfred Hickman). But eventually she realizes that Henry's love is really sincere and they are reconciled. This film was produced by Albert Capellani, who was riding high at the time because he had recently directed Alla Nazimova in The Red Lantern.
