Written and directed by Rebecca Halpern, the documentary chronicles the life of culinary pioneer Charlie Trotter. Known for his competitive flair and revolutionary flavors, Trotter inspired many chefs, such as Gordon Ramsay. Yet he didn’t lack enemies either. The film features interviews and exclusive archival footage of noteworthy chefs, including Grant Achatz, Wolfgang Puck, and Emeril Lagasse, that pay homage to Trotter’s memory.
