Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The Famous Players company inaugurated its second release season with the multi-reel H.B. Warner vehicle The Lost Paradise. The star plays a factory foreman whose love for the owner's daughter (Catherine Carter) is complicated by the intervention of his unscrupulous rival (Arthur Hoops). As a means to discredit Warner in the eyes of Carter's daughter, Hoops steals Warner's labor-saving invention and passes it off as his own. It hardly helps the hero's case when he sides with the workers against the owner during a bitter factory strike. But goodness and virtue triumph, and Warner emerges the all-around winner by the final reel.
