Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This melodrama was based on an old stage play by N.S. Wood. The film starred John Lowell, who had recently scored a hit in Ten Nights in a Barroom. Helen Farley (Jane Thomas) weds the faithless Richard Norman (Charles Beyer). After they have a child (Baby Ivy Ward), he leaves her and marries a society girl, Blanche Maberly (Evangeline Russell) without bothering to get a divorce. Helen's brother Harry (Lowell) returns from Alaska, where he was prospecting for gold, to find his sister on the verge of death. He swears vengeance and goes in search of the bigamous Norman, who is now going by the name Sidney Heaton. Farley's hunt takes him from New York's exclusive West Side to the East Side slums and then to a bootlegger's lair in the Adirondacks. After a fierce battle, the bootleggers are rounded up and Norman is killed.
