Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
The title of the film Loma Lynda comes from the name of the Los Angeles multimedia quartet behind it. Comprised of performance artists Jason Bognacki, Sarah Ellquist, Chris Mammone, and Daniel Patrick White, the group presents a blend of music and imagery in the experimental film, commenting on everything from religion to sex to paranoia and telling the story of a pair of girls who are abducted by a crazed murderer. Loma Lynda screened at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival as part of the Frontier program.
