The Festspielehaus Baden-Baden mounted this epic-length production of Richard Wagner's 1850 opera Lohengrin in 2006. The medieval romance stars Klaus Florian Vogt in the title role, Solveig Kringelborn as Elsa von Brabant, and Hans-Peter König as Heinrich der Vogler. The Chorus of the Opéra national de Lyon and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin provide musical accompaniment, with Kent Nagano serving as musical director. Nikolaus Lehnhoff directs for the stage.
