Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
William Glasser and Carleen Glasser, authors of several professional texts including Choice Theory, present their theories on why good relationships don't just happen but are the result of ongoing work and open communication. Seven deadly relationship pitfalls are discussed and explored in an effort to help couples recognize which ones may be robbing their relationship of its full vitality. Couples are reminded that every day they should make a conscious choice to find at least one way to make their mate feel appreciated and to meet some of their most basic emotional needs. Specific advice is also provided concerning a problem-solving approach the Glassers call "the solving circle."
