Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this popular Greek thriller/satire, a disgruntled employee of the Greek Telecommunications Organization marches into the director's office and connects a bomb to his computer, threatening to blow up the nation's phone system unless he gets to appear on television just before the final match of the World Soccer Cup. He claims he is going to protest government policies. While the director stalls the bomber, the government goes on a frantic search to find out what, if any, organization the bomber belongs to, and arrest its members. To their considerable distress, he is a man working on his own. By the time they call in the police psychiatrists, the clever bomber shows he has a further surprise or two up his sleeve.
