Synopsis by Nicole Gagne
Actress Violet Mersereau plays the dual role of mother and daughter in this light five-reel comedy. Circus performer Wallace Saunders (Robert Clugston) marries the circus diva Tina (Violet Mersereau) against the wishes of his father (Ned Finlay). After the couple die, their daughter Alice (also Ms. Mersereau) shows her own stubborn streak when she's adopted by her grandfather and takes up residence in his mansion -- where she alternately battles her governess and coddles her pet pig! George Reynolds (Sidney Mason), a circus artist who made it big, has loved Alice and comes to claim her, but her grandfather accuses him of being a fortune hunter. Alice and George decide to elope, but her grandfather accepts them after they're married.
