Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This little three-reel drama is the typical silent-era story of the village girl done wrong by the sophisticated city man. Two sisters, Sunbeam (Jackie Saunders) and Daisy, are orphaned and go to live with the local blacksmith. Years ago his own daughter ran off with a stranger, and history is about to repeat itself with the arrival of a society man, who has come to the country with his friends on a fishing trip. He meets Daisy and, in spite of Sunbeam's protests, convinces her to accompany him back to the city. While Daisy is being impregnated and dumped by her city boyfriend, Sunbeam comes looking for her. She meets an artist and poses for him. They fall in love, and when Sunbeam eventually finds Daisy, the artist paints a portrait of her and the baby. The man who left Daisy sees the portrait and confesses all. He reunites with her and "does the right thing" -- i.e., he marries her.
