Based on the Edgar Allan Poe story of the same name, Ligeia tells the story of a man named Kieran who drowns himself in sexual confusion after his wife's death. Alienating his new wife, Rowena, with his obsession, he pushes her into the arms of an old lover, while simultaneously allowing his relationship with his mistress, Kelly, to get out of hand, driving her to become more and more possessive. What results is a thriller that deals with betrayal, devotion, and death.
