Hard-drinking lawyer Martin Bradley (William Nigh) has an affinity for outcasts -- first he takes in Mary Graves (Ruth Thorpe) as a housekeeper, then he offers help to Madge Morrow (Irene Howley) who was compromised by Rodney Thorndyke (Robert Elliott), the son of town distiller Hugh Thorndyke (Will B. Stevens). Bradley sobers up and sees to it that Rodney, who is a mayoral candidate, does right by Madge. The younger Thorndyke son Chester (Roy Clair) is also addicted to alcohol but quits after his brother leaves town and becomes the leading mayoral candidate himself. This mediocre programmer was directed by its star William Nigh.
