Synopsis by Kimber Myers
Rosalind Russell may be best known for her iconic roles in films such as The Women, Auntie Mame, and His Girl Friday, but the star shined off screen as well. Life is a Banquet explores the career and philanthropic work of the four-time Oscar nominee, from starting the USO to her later work as an activist for arthritis sufferers. Though Russell herself had the disease, her work wasn't merely a selfish whim; the actress devoted her life off-screen to helping those around her from early on in her career.
