Two bareback riders in a one-ring traveling circus find love and romance in this bittersweet drama. Nina (Emilie Vasaryova) has concerned parents who want more for her than a life in the circus. She falls for Vincet (Jan Triska), but their love is interrupted when he is drafted into the cavalry. After being discharged from the military, Vincet searches for Nina by joining another circus, hoping one day their two paths will cross. Josef Kroner is excellent in a supporting role as a circus clown who has been on the sawdust for years. The feature appeared at the 1966 San Francisco Film Festival.
