Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

A husband (Chung Hsing-Huo) is distracted by the ambition of his lovely wife (Chang Jui-Fang), a fervent communist who hopes to run the rural commune where the couple resides. The outspoken woman temporarily irritates her friends and neighbors with her suggestions until they finally realize that she is right. As is the case with many Chinese films of the era, no attempt is made to downplay the Communist Party propaganda that permeates the feature.
