John Bird and John Wells doubled as stars and directors of this intermittently scheduled British comedy series, which satirized the inner workings of the country's TV industry. The first half-hour episode, broadcast by Yorkshire Television on August 1, 1972, was "Return to Leeds." This was followed in not-so-rapid succession by "Deadline Leeds," "The Play's the Thing" (aka "Juvenile Leeds"), and "Leeds Athletic." The fifth and final episode, "Le Prix de Leeds," aired on July 23, 1974.
