Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

This film documents the life and photography of Lee Miller. As this program notes, Lee Miller was an American model-turned-photographer who studied and traveled widely throughout Europe. She shot several notable World War II scenes as an official U.S. Army and U.S. Air Corps photographer, including revealing photos of the concentration camps at Dachau and Buchenwald. Later in life, Miller became Lady Lee Penrose after her husband Roland Penrose was knighted.
