Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This documentary consists of film approved by the Nazis and the Vichy government of occupied France during World War II. Parisians willfully deal with the Nazis for supplies, cigarettes, and chocolates as they turn their heads to the horrors inflicted by the invading Germans. There is only a passing mention of any kind of resistance movement. Speeches from government leaders have a decidedly anti-Semitic, pro-fascist stance as the historical evidence of Nazi collaboration by most of the French people is undisputably illustrated.
