Didier Aufort's romantic comedy Le Pari de L'Amour (Betting on Love) is about a woman who suddenly strikes it rich. Caroline (Isabelle Beke) works in a beauty shop and is engaged to the dependable Jean-Philippe (Djedje Apali). After getting a 20-million-dollar windfall at a horse race, Caroline's personality changes to the point that she and Jean-Philippe separate. Caroline travels to Paris and begins spending time with her cousin (Virginie Racosta) and a pair of men, Armand (Virgile M'Fioulou) and Guy (Patrick Kodjo Topou).
